International Ballet Stars to Perform with the VSDC

Maria Kowroski and Tyler Angle, both principal dancers with New York City Ballet, will be appearing as guest artists with the VSDC in this year’s production of The Nutcracker, performing the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Her Cavalier.

Dance Appreciation Workshop at McKinley Junior High School

On January 17, 18 and 19, 2012, members of the Vicky Simegiatos Dance Company visited McKinley Junior High School to present a Dance Appreciation Workshop attended by 1500 students.  Vicky talked about what dance is, how dancers train, and the different styles of dance.  Company members presented classical variations and original contemporary solos.
